Pastor Mavis Morisseau
Pastor Mavis Morisseau was born in San Antonio, Texas. She is the daughter of Wilma Lee Hicks and John Potter. She was stationed in Clovis, New Mexico, and Okinawa, Japan through the military armed forces. She is the proud mother of seven daughters and one son. Pastor Mavis has been fulfilling the role of Pastor the past seven years.
Pastor Mavis’ initiatives include educating and training. She received her Master of Creative Movement from Columbia College in Chicago. Her ministry is dedicated to the total praise of Jesus Christ through apostolic leadership and discipleship. Pastor Mavis is an activist for the disadvantaged, liberty, for the spiritually bound and healing for the brokenhearted. Her in-depth teaching includes such topics as Revelation on Dance Theology, Worship in the Arts, Liturgical Worship, Prophetic Movement, and Cross-cultural Ministries. She trains and develops leadership in individuals of various denominations, and ethnic backgrounds. This allows her to effectively mentor spirit-filled persons across the nation to express their artistic ministry in a disciplined and excellent manner.
In 2010, Pastor Mavis graduated from Eagles International Flag Institute under Eagle Betty Kiser. The visionary of Eagles International Training Institute is Dr. Pamela Hardy and Apostle Chris Hardy. God opened the door for Pastor Mavis to become a part of TEN WorldWide as the Prayer Watch Coordinator under the direction of Pastor Sumaya White. Pastor Mavis has served two years as a Maryland TEN Worldwide Teacher in Baltimore, Maryland.
Pastor Mavis is the Founder of True Worship Prophetic Kingdom Ministry, a church without walls. Originally established as Bethel House of God Prayer Line in 2009, the Lord transitioned it to True Worship Prophetic Prayer Line after her pilgrimage to Israel in 2012. She works side by side with her Executive Director, Reverend Stephanie Harley. During 2012, Dr. Mavis ministered in dance at Paradigm Shift Women’s Conference in Pennsylvania under Minister Patrice Myrick Ministries. In 2013, she ministered the Word at Breakthrough Women’s Conference under the direction of PPT Ministry, Evangelist Marilyn Adams, in New Bern, North Carolina. Also, Pastor Mavis has worked faithfully with Reach Out to Military Ministry under the leadership of LTC, USAF, Ret. Donna Davis.
August 2013, Pastor Mavis became a second-year graduate of Eagles International Intercessory Prayer Institute under Pastor Karen L. Gardner from Anchorage, Alaska.
In May 2016, Pastor Mavis received an Honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Eastern Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, Virginia.
On, February 8, 2017, Dr. Mavis was appointed Chaplain for Dancing Preachers International under the direction of Pastor Sabrina McKenzie. She is also a member of the Chaplain Ministry Outreach in St. Petersburg, Florida. In October of 2020, Pastor Mavis became a Certified Mental Health Coach.
Everyday Dr. Mavis purposes to be better than yesterday and promise to live Yeshua on the inside. She walks close to Him, close enough to hear God Breathe! Yeshua reigns!
